About the Journal
The Journal of Islamic and Applied Sciences (JIAS) is a refereed journal published by the Department of Fiqh-Usul and Applied Sciences, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya (APIUM). The journal is published twice a year. The main objective of JIAS is to provide an academic platform for discussions on issues related to Islamic Sciences through an interdisciplinary approach, and to contribute to the production and dissemination of high-quality research that integrates Islamic principles with contemporary scientific knowledge. JIAS welcomes articles covering interdisciplinary studies between science and Islamic studies.
